Veg Tandoori Skewers

Paneer, red pepper and onion marinated in yoghurt and Rafi's Tandoori Masala blend. A wonderful vegetarian alternative to Tandoori chicken.

Serves: 4 | Suitable for vegetarians

Veg Tandoori Skewers


  1. In a large bowl mix together the yoghurt, Rafi's Tandoori Masala and a pinch of salt.
  2. Add in the paneer, red pepper and onion, mix well and leave to marinate for at least half an hour.
  3. Thread the ingredients on to skewers (if using wooden skewers it is best to soak them in water before using them, to help stop them burning during cooking).
  4. Cook the skewers either under a hot grill or on a BBQ for 15 -20 minutes, turning once each side is charred.

Don't be afraid of getting a bit of colour on the paneer and veg when cooking, charring really helps to give a depth of flavour and acts as a beautiful contrast to the subtle creamy paneer and sweet pepper and onion. Try serving these in naan breads with paprika yoghurt and some beetroot and apple salad.
