Kachoombar (Chopped Indian Salad)

A zingy, crunchy salad that acts as a lovely little side or mid-meal palate cleanser.

Serves: 4-6 | Suitable for vegetarians

Kachoombar (Chopped Indian Salad)

Instructions

  1. De-seed the cucumber, then finely chop all the veg.
  2. Toast the Onion Seeds in a tsp of oil until they start to pop.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  4. Allow the mixture to rest till the sugar dissolves.
  5. Serve chilled.

Why not add some radishes (200g) and 1 red pepper to give this dish even more colour?
