Our own special spice blend for a tandoori marinade. Makes for great BBQ chicken or even paneer kebabs!
Our own special spice blend for a tandoori marinade, including kashmiri chilli powder, amchur powder and other lovely things.
This can be mixed with yoghurt and used to marinade chicken or paneer. Perfect for BBQ season! This mix will make enough for 4 -6 people.
This mix contains no artificial colourings.
Instructions: Empty the pack into a large bowl with 200g of natural yoghurt and a pinch of salt. Add 1KG of ingredients (e.g. Chicken drunsticks, cubes of paneer or chunky veg) and mix well. Leave to marinade for 1 hour. Cook on the BBQ or grill for 15-20 minuets, depending on the ingredients used, turning frequently to ensure even cooking.
For prawns: Instead of yoghurt, add juice of 1 lemon and a drizzle of oil, marinate the prawns for an hour, thread on the skewers, BBQ for about 6 minutes (depending on the size of the prawns).
Ingredients: Chilli Powder, Spices, Amchur (Powdered Dehydrated Unripe Mango) Garlic Powder, Ginger Powder, Asafoetida (Rice Flour, Gum Arabic, Asafoetida, Turmeric).
