Gujarati Greens

Serves: 4 – 6 as a side Vegetarian Vegan

A simple and quick stir fry with coconut and curry leaves. Obviously, this is smashing with green beans, but runner beans or even sprouting broccoli works really well.

Please note: Due to shortages of fresh ingredients some of our products may be made using dry ingredients (chilli powder & dry curry leaves) - this will not affect the flavour of your Curry Packs.

Shelf life & storage: The mix will last for up to 4 weeks in a fridge and for six months in a freezer. Once cooked the food will last for 2 days in a fridge and up to one month in a freezer.

  1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok, then add 250g finely sliced runner beans or other greens and the contents of the pack.
  2. Stir fry over a high heat for 2 minutes.
  3. Add 2 tbsp water, stir well and allow the water to evaporate.
  4. Repeat this process until the beans are tender.
  5. Season to taste and serve.
