Plain Boiled Rice


  1. Add the water, rice and salt to a pan and bring to the boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting and cover with a tight fitting lid.
  3. Cook gently for 12 minutes.
  4. Turn off the heat and leave to stand for 3 minutes.
  5. To serve, fluff the grains gently with a fork.
