Mackerel with Kashmiri Masala
Mackerel with a spicy chilli and garlic marinade
Make 4 or 5 diagonal slits into the mackerel to help the marinade penetrate. Open the pack and rub all over the fish, into the cuts and in the cavity. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle with salt and place on a pre-heated BBQ, then cook each side for 3 to 5 minutes or till the fish is done. Be careful not to overcook it as it will go dry. Serve with a simple green herb salad.
