Native to Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina, the berries are also known as Brazilian Pepper, Christmasberry and Baies Roses. These peppercorns are dried fruit of Schinus molle plant. Even though they are not technically part of the pepper family, their likeness and similar flavour gives them their misnomer. .
Pink Peppercorns are a great way to add colour to salads, seafood, cheese sauces and eggs. As their flavour is mild, use with fish and other delicate dishes. Also makes a lovely infusion for gin!
