Lijjat papadums were created in Mumbai by Shri Mahila Griha Udyog, a women's organisation who are dedicated to creating high-quality Indian products and simultaneously providing jobs to women from all backgrounds.
These papadums can be fried, grilled, or cooked in the microwave one at a time. You can even cook them over an open flame if you're feeling adventurous, for a smokier flavour. Flavoured with cumin seed, they have a savoury, nutty taste. Perfect as a snack, starter or with a curry.
Ingredients: Udad-dal Flour, Garlic, Green Chillies, Sodium Bicarbonate, Salt, Edible Vegetable Oil.
