Rafi's Cabbage and Ajwain Spice Blend

An incredibly simple and light dish. A great complement to any of our curries!


If you aren't a fan of cabbage, other vegetables with strong green leaves work well too, for example, kale or any spring greens!

Instructions: Heat 2 tbsp of sunflower oil in a wok over a medium heat, add sachet no.1 (ajwain seeds) and 2 cloves of finely sliced garlic and fry for 3-40 seconds. Add 500g sliced green cabbage and sachet no.2 (turmeric) and fry for a further 2-3 minutes. Add 2 tbsp of water and allow time for it to evaporate, this will help with cooking through the cabbage. season with sugar and salt and garnish with a squeeze of lemon juice . Also works well with kale or spring greens.

Shelf life & storage: Will last up to 6 months when stored in a cool, dark place.
