Palak Paneer Curry Pack

Serves: 4 – 6 as a side Vegetarian Vegan

A lightly spiced sauce to complement traditional Indian curd cheese and spinach puree. A well-balanced vegetarian side dish, which will serve two if served as a main.

Please note: Due to shortages of fresh ingredients some of our products may be made using dry ingredients (chilli powder & dry curry leaves) - this will not affect the flavour of your Curry Packs.

Shelf life & storage: The mix will last for up to 4 weeks in a fridge and for six months in a freezer. Once cooked the food will last for 2 days in a fridge and up to one month in a freezer.

  1. Blanch 200g of spinach and immediately soak in iced water.
  2. Once cool, strain and blend spinach to a puree with a little water, then keep aside.
  3. Gently fry 200g cubed paneer until golden and keep aside.
  4. Empty the contents of the pack into a pan with 200ml of water and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add 2 fresh chopped tomatoes and simmer for a further 2 minutes.
  6. Add the spinach and paneer then simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce is fairly thick.
  7. Garnish with double cream (optional).
  8. Season and serve.
