Are Rafi's Curry Packs Vegan?
Veganism is here to stay, and many agree that it is the most ethical life-style possible. Around the world there are many cultures and peoples who have managed without animal products for generations but if you are not sure that you want to sign up then Veganuary gives you the chance to try living without committing for life.
Started in 2014, Veganuary is a non-profit organisation that encourages people to try veganism for January and beyond. Veganuary is focused on changing consumer behaviours and attitudes, while providing all the information and practical support required to make the transition to veganism as easy and as enjoyable as possible.
Since the campaign started, more than 500,000 people have registered to try vegan, although data suggests that ten times more people actually participate and try a vegan diet in January each year.
Unlike some other food suppliers, Rafi’s has not had to work too hard to get ready for Veganuary. Although our Green Thai, Red Thai and our Malay Rendang Curry Packs are not suitable for vegetarians (these traditional Thai pastes contains shrimp), every other one of our packs is suitable for Vegan and Vegetarians alike, as we don’t use any animal products in our other Curry Packs. This means that we provide our customers with over 60 Vegan options, each one delicious and easy to make!
