Although traditionally Kashmiri the Moghuls favoured it for it's rich looks and spread it as far south as Hyderabad.
Rogan Josh is often associated with a bright red colour. Traditionally this was obtained from a natural dye called rattanjog but this is very expensive so we suggest the use of tomato puree which also helps create a rich velvety sauce.
Ingredients: * Fresh Chillies, onions, Spices, Salt, sugar, Water, Tomato Puree, Tamarind, Ginger, Garlic, Acetic Acid, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Wheat Flour. May contain traces of mustard, nuts and sesame seeds.
