Using the curry mixes
By @ 09:09 :: 1984 Views :: 9 Comments :: :: Using the Mixes

Here is an example of the instructions that will come with each Curry pack. Each pack does have slightly different instructions and additional requirements but this method illustrates the four main steps involved.

step 1 – Empty the contents of Rafi's Curry Pack into a large saucepan or wok.

step 2 – Add 300ml of cold water, simmer gently for 5-8  minutes or until a thick consistency has been achieved.

step 3 – Add 1kilogram of raw ingredients of your choice. Mix well and cover.

step 4 – Simmer gently until all the ingredients are cooked. For best results serve the following day.

Just returned from holiday in York last Saturday (26th) where we purchased four of your premixed spices. Although we have not used them yet we would like to pass on our thanks to your very helpful, informative and courteous staff

I received a present from my friend Sylvia of Rogan Josh mix. I made my curry last night and I have to say it was delicious better than any Idian restarant that i have been to where I live. It was a very authentic curry.

Will definetely order my curry mix from here

Stumbled upon your shop whilst on holiday in York. Bought two of your mixes. Excellent! Have bought four more online. Excellent! Have recommended your store to loads of my friends. Very informative and easy to use website.
What do I do with all my redundant spices?

I found this shop in York in the summer, the smell as you go in is fabulous. The curries are wonderful, and I've just completed an order online after finishing the last of the vindaloo. Great curries, great value (makes 4 greedy servings each pack), and the best by far of any curry you could buy in a supermarket. Better than most resteraunts.

visited your York shop after seeing it featured on a James Martin programme. Knew if James recommended it it would be good! Tried the Jalfrezi mix and the bombay potato mix. Fabulous! Tasted better than any restaurant meal and I have now ordered more online. Can't wait for them to arrive.
