Colcassia is a small round tuber. It has an interesting, nutty flavour, good in soups or thin curries. It can also be deep fried or roasted. In its raw state it can be toxic to the skin. Wear gloves when handling and always cook before serving.

This is also known as Taro Root. I've been searching for it for a while and it was right under my nose all the time!!
