By lfernandez @ 23:18 :: 142 Views :: 1 Comments ::

Garlic has been commonly used for centuries in curries, various chutneys and pickles, and as a medicine to cure various diseases. The taste of garlic is an irritant to some and emits a strong pungent smell. Garlic also has an antibacterial effect and checks the cholesterol in the body. Garlic produces warmth in the body during the winter months and causes perspiration in the summer, which has a refreshing cooling effect.
