Ladies fingers (Okra)

One of the most popular vegetables in India. It must be prepared with care to prevent the sticky insides from spreading to the rest of the dish. Can also be dry fried for a crisp finish (see recipe section). The pulp of the pod can be used to soften the skin on the face and prevent pimples.
