Peanuts

There are a number of varieties of Peanut (groundnut) in India,which refers to how they grow. The pods with two seeds are very common. They are used in many Indian sweets as well as being ground and added to savoury dishes. It is said that Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Indian nation, used to eat groundnuts with goat’s milk every day.
